Aerotech Aircraft Maintenance Ltd is based at the Airpark, which is a superbly modern and well equipped facility located at Coventry Airport adjacent to the ATC Tower. The company itself was formed in 1997 by a qualified licenced aircraft engineer named Robert Doherty, who has many years experience on General Aviation aircraft. The company has grown steadily through its reputation for high standards of maintenance and through the word of mouth of its satisfied customers for whom it now maintains over 80 aircraft and employs a dedicated team of 5 friendly and helpful staff, including two other licenced aircraft engineers.

Robert himself is a qualified pilot with a multi rating and has in the past flown out to owners on tour with mechanical problems, this capability is just one example of the flexibility which can be provided to our customers. Air-checks and positioning flights are carried out by Robert's associate, who is a professional pilot with previous GA experience as an instructor and charter pilot before joining the airlines.

Robert's expertise will ensure that any maintenance task from a small rectification to a full 3 year Certificate of Airworthiness is carried out competently and efficiently, with the owner kept in the full picture of the situation at all times. The relationship that builds up between aircraft owners and their maintenance organisation is vital to ensure that the aircraft themselves are maintained to the highest standards of safety, yet still within the bounds of justifiable operating costs. So if you have just purchased an aircraft and you are looking for a reliable maintenance facility or alternatively you are currently considering a change, then please call to discuss the maintenance of your aircraft with Robert. We also specialise in carrying out thorough pre-purchase aircraft surveys and have travelled to destinations as far as Malta to carry these out.

In addition to scheduled maintenance, larger scale repairs can be undertaken, as shown by the photos below of a Beech Baron, which we recovered back to the UK from Norway before undertaking a comprehensive repair. This also illustrates our capability to cover N registered aircraft, as Robert holds inspection authorisation from the FAA.
